Janelle Spear is a Doctor of Audiology with over 25 years of experience practicing in the Bay Area. She received a Bachelor of Science in speech and hearing science from the University of Oregon, a Master's degree in audiology from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and her professional doctorate (Au.D.) from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and the California Academy of Audiology. Most importantly, she is committed to providing clients the individualized attention and service needed to optimize their hearing and communication abilities.
Fonda Carranza, our Office Manager, joined the staff in 2012. Her background is in fine arts and arts education and she has taught at The Crucible and in Oakland Unified Public Schools. She is fluent in Spanish and conversational in American Sign Language and enjoys every opportunity to use these languages at work. She never tires of seeing how happy our patients are when they realize how much fuller their lives can be with better hearing. Fonda appreciates that she is able to work in an environment where she can get know everyone on a personal level.
